The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including efforts to prevent and resolve copyright violations. This article examines the role of digital technology in protecting copyrighted works from misuse and piracy, as well as providing innovative solutions in enforcing copyright law. Technologies such as blockchain, digital rights management (DRM) systems, and artificial intelligence (AI) have shown great potential in improving security and transparency in recording and tracking copyright ownership. Blockchain, for example, offers an immutable and transparent recording method to protect copyrighted works from unauthorized claims of ownership. DRM provides direct protection of digital content by controlling access and use based on the license granted. In addition, AI is used to detect copyright violations by analyzing content usage patterns quickly and accurately. However, implementing this technology is not without challenges, including high costs, the need for in-depth technical knowledge, and privacy concerns. This article also highlights several case studies that show the success of applying digital technology in protecting copyright and provides recommendations for stakeholders, including policy makers, creative industries, and technology users, to work together to create a safe and fair ecosystem for all parties. Thus, digital technology not only acts as a protective tool, but also as a catalyst for change in the copyright protection landscape in the digital era.
